Ib Bondebjerg

I am professor emeritus at the Department of Media, Cognition and Communication, University of Copenhagen. I am also associate editor of the open access journal Palgrave Communication just as I am co-editor of the book series Palgrave European Film and Media studies. I am very interested in and has written about documentary and cognitive theory, history, memory and emotion. I am presently involved as co-director in the HERA/EU financed project 'Mediating cultural encounters through European Screens, see www.mecetes.co.uk. I have recently established a blog, Bondebjerg Media Blog, which can be accessed here: www.bondebjergmediablog.com. I am presently working on a book with the working title: Screening the European Past. Television, History and Memory.
