Thomas E. Wartenberg (Philosophy, Mt. Holyoke College) will be one of the keynote speakers. His presentation will be titled, “Dramatizing Philosophy: the Film as Philosophy Debate Revisited.” Also, that there will be author-meets-critics panels on Carl Plantinga’s new book Screen Stories: Emotion and the Ethics of Engagement (forthcoming, Oxford University Press) and Margrethe Bruun Vaage’s, ] The Anti-Hero in American Television (Routledge, 2016).
