A convenient way to pay for travel is using a pre-paid Oyster Card.

The registration desk is located in the Clore building (No. 2 on the map).
Airport Transfers
Heathrow
The Heathrow Express provides a fast train into central London (Paddington Station). Alternatively the Piccadilly Line on the underground provides a slower, but cheaper alternative.
Stansted
The Stansted Express provides a relatively fast train into central London (Liverpool Street Station). Cheaper and slower alternatives are the coach services National Express or Terravision.
Gatwick
The Gatwick Express has a train every 15 minutes into central London (Victoria Station). There are also cheaper and slower coach options from National Express.
Luton
Luton is slightly less convenient as there is no train station at the airport. There is a shuttle bus to a rail option detailed on the Airport’s site, or alternatively a coach service with National Express.
London City
London City Airport is a very central airport that is connected to the underground by the DLR line. Whilst no budget airlines fly into this airport, it is both simple and fast to travel into central London from here.
Taxis
London’s iconic black cabs can be booked in advance for travel from airports, or hailed at the airport taxi rank. These services typically run on the meter, but the drivers are well regulated and very knowledgable.
Alternatively mini-cab services are fixed price, a popular option is Addison Lee.
